Planetary positions are computed from Swiss Ephemeris — the same astronomical library used by professional astrologers worldwide — with Lahiri ayanamsa applied (the Indian government standard). Accuracy is to the arc-second.
The main source of inaccuracy, when it happens, is birth time. The rising sign (lagna) changes every ~2 hours. If your time is off by an hour, the lagna could be the next sign — which changes the whole house structure.
